Much vs Many

Same idea (a big amount), but it depends on counting.

• MANY — countable things. many goats, many robots, many robot goats.
• MUCH — uncountable things. much time, much money, much beer, much regret. Much is usually used for questions and negatives, and it can also be used with adjectives and adverbs: much nicer, much more nicely.

Trick: if you can count them, use many; if not, much.

Note: We can say “many more things” and “much more water”, too, though here we’re mainly practicing the difference in meaning.
